The sirloin tip Angus steak is a lean piece of meat, a little less tender than other steaks, but still very flavourful. The Angus designation is a certification that attests to superior quality meat. These steaks have excellent marbling and meet specific criteria. It is recommended the steak be placed at room temperature for half an hour before cooking. Season your steak with salt and pepper or other spices at least 15 minutes before cooking so the seasoning is well absorbed. Enhance your steak: cover it with foil and let it sit for a couple of minutes after cooking.

Remove plastic wrap and foam tray. Using a fork or end of a steak knife, pierce the meat. Add the meat to a sealable bag with 1 cup of desired marinade. For best results marinate for approx 10 hours in your fridge. Once marinated, remove meat from the sealable bag and place on your grill or in a stove top pan or skillet. Cook using medium heat and turn the steak at least twice. Cook to at least medium rare 145°f/63°c.
