Tylenol Dye-Free Grape Flavoured Acetaminophen Concentrate Drops for infants is offered in a 24ml format. They provide fast, effective relief of fevers and aches caused by immunizations, teething, colds and flu in infants 0-23 months. This product is sold with a FaciliDose syringe for more accurate dosing. DOSAGE: In order to administer the correct dose, please follow the directions for use. Try to determine the dose according to the child's weight, if not age. Shake bottle well before use. Administer the liquid slowly into the infant's mouth or add it to a liquid or pureed food. The syringe included in the box is designed to be used with this product. Use only this syringe to administer the product. Do not use any other dosing device. The drug content of Tylenol Concentrated Infant Drops is not the same as that of Tylenol for children. The unit dose can be given every 4 to 6 hours. However, do not exceed 5 doses per day. For infants 0 to 3 months of age, less than 12 lbs (less than 5.5kg): Consult a physician. Infants 4 to 11 months, 12 to 17lbs (5.5 to 7.9 kg): 1ml. Infants 12 to 23 months, 18 to 23lbs (8.0 to 10.9kg): 1.5ml. WARNING: Keep out of reach of children. Do not mix with other medications containing acetaminophen. Do not exceed maximum daily dose. Overdose may cause severe liver damage which could be fatal. Do not use this product if the child is allergic to acetaminophen. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist for more than 5 days, if fever lasts more than 3 days, or if the child develops allergic reactions such as wheezing. Severe skin reactions to acetaminophen are very rarely reported, but symptoms may include redness of the skin, blistering and a rash. If a skin reaction occurs, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner immediately. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this product if the child has severe kidney or liver disease, or is taking other medications, including natural products, prescription drugs, salicylates or any other pain or fever medication. Do not use if the seal is broken. Replace the child-resistant cap on the syringe after each use. In case of overdose, contact a Poison Control Centre or healthcare professional immediately and watch for symptoms such as profuse sweating, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain and loss of appetite.
