Preheat the oven to 305°F (180°C).In a small bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.Place the butter, white sugar and brown sugar into the bowl of an electric mixer and cream the ingredients together.Add the vanilla and milk, then continue to blend to obtain a light, even mixture.Using a rubber spatula or wooden spoon, fold the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until they are well incorporated. Stir in the chocolate chips evenly. Be careful not to over mix the dough.With your hands, make 16 small balls of equal size.Place the balls onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, then bake in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes.Note:For crispier cookies, substitute the brown sugar for white sugar and bake for 12 to 14 minutes.

Preparation
