Take pineapples slices and place over the entire ham, using the cloves and cherries to stick them into the ham and keep them in place.Place ham in the rack of roasting pan and cover with foil and roast for 30 mins.Meanwhile, combine brown sugar/honey, black pepper and pineapple juice in a sauce pan over medium heat, until the mixture is smooth and the sugar is dissolved.Pour the brown sugar/honey glaze mixture over the ham and continue roasting for 45 mins, basting at least 2-3 times with the drippings in the roaster.Check for doneness by using a thermometer.
