Preheat the oven at 400° F (200°C).Place the slices of bread on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.Bake for about 5 minutes or until the bread is lightly colored.Remove from the heat and reserve.In the meantime, combine all the other ingredients in a bowl.Season to taste with salt and pepper.Spread the bruschetta mixture on the pieces of bread and bake for another 5 minutes or until the cheese is nicely melted.Serve hot, decorated with fresh basil leaves.
