Preheat oven to 350 F (175 C).Remove the top, seeds and inner membranes of the hot peppers; set aside.In a frying pan, heat oil and brown onion. Add ground beef and cook 8 minutes, or until well-done.Add rice, tomato, vegetable juice, basil, salt and pepper; cook 1 more minute. Add cheese and mix well.Distribute stuffing among the 6 hot peppers and place these in a shallow baking dish. Cover with aluminium foil and cook 30 minutes.350°F (180°C)
