Melt butter in a saucepan. Add diced vegetables. Cover and sweat over medium heat for about 3 minutes. Stir curry into vegetables.Add chicken broth and drained tomatoes and cook 15 minutes or so over medium heat until vegetables are tender. Add drained lentils and cook for about 5 minutes.Meanwhile, in a skillet brown sausages in Mezzo olive oil.Serve soup piping hot and garnish with sausage slices.

Preparation
