Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.Cook pasta for 8 minutes.Peel the shrimp.Cut asparagus into 2" pièces.Halve the cherry tomatoes.After 5 minutes, drop asparagus into pasta pot and cook for 3-5 minutes more.Drain and reserve some pasta cooking water.Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium-high heat until butter melts.Cook the shrimp with salt and pepper for 1 to 2 minutes on each side or until done.Remove shrimp from pan.Add the penne, asparagus, pesto and walnuts to the pan and mix well.Add some of the starchy water 1 tablespoon at a time until desired consistency.Add the tomatoes, shrimp, basil, and some salt and pepper.Serve in bowls garnished with parmesan.Source: Missfresh.com
