Prepare the ingrédients.
Cut the chicken into cubes.
Chop the onion.
Mince the garlic.
Dice the pepper.
Peel the shrimp.
Fry the chicken, onion, and garlic in the olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes.
Add the rice and continue to stir for one minute more.
Stir in the tomato paste, the water for rice, the shrimp and the Cajun spices.
Bring to a boil.
Add the pepper and the peas and cook for another minute.
Sprinkle the breadcrumbs over, reduce the heat to medium-low.
Cover and let cook for 10-15 minutes. Serve.
