Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F.Blend oil and butter in a glass bowl. Reserve.Baste chicken with melted butter.Put 5 garlic cloves, parsley and thyme inside chicken.Put chicken on a rack in a roasting pan.Pour chicken broth and remaining garlic cloves in the bottom of the roasting pan.Roast about 40 minutes. Baste frequently.Cover with aluminum foil and continue cooking 50 minutes.
