In a large saucepan, heat the butter over medium heat.Add the ginger, cumin and curry.Simmer for 1 minute.Add the onion, garlic, cabbage, salt and pepper.Cook for about 20 minutes,stirring once in a while.Add the apricots and apples. Cook for 8 minutes, or until the desired doneness.
