Juice grapefruit and pour into a large wine glass.Add all other ingredients.Stir well with a spoon.Add ice cubes and decorate with twist of grapefruit peel.Note:To make simple syrup, just bring equal portions of water and sugar to the boil, then let simmer until sugar is fully dissolved.Do not boil too long, as sugar solution will become too thick.
