We’re proud to expand our efforts to showcase local products thanks to an in-store program that makes it easier to identify foods made in Quebec and Canada. Labels on our shelves will allow clients to make choices that support local economies.
Criteria for identifying local products

Quebec foods
Any product that is completely made in Quebec or any product that contains at least 85% ingredients from Quebec, as long as every main ingredient comes from Quebec. In addition, any processing and packaging must be done in Quebec.
Foods prepared in Quebec
Any product that is completely processed and packaged in Quebec. In addition, if the main ingredients are available in Quebec in a sufficient quantity, these ingredients must be from Quebec.
Local products
Any fruit or vegetable from Quebec.
Product of Quebec
This is any manufactured product for which at least 85% of the direct costs related to the purchase of inputs, their processing, and their assembly are incurred in Quebec. Additionally, the final substantial transformation of the product must be carried out in Quebec.
Made in Quebec
This is any manufactured product for which the final transformation of the product is carried out in Quebec.
Designed in Quebec
This is any manufactured product for which the labor involved in design and conception activities is entirely based in Quebec.
Canadian foods
Any product that is completely made in Canada or any product that contains at least 85% ingredients from Canada, as long as every main ingredient comes from Canada. In addition, any processing and packaging must be done in Canada.
Foods prepared in Canada
Any product that is completely processed and packaged in Canada. In addition, if the main ingredients are available in Canada in a sufficient quantity, these ingredients must be from Canada.
