Currently, we only accept Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, and American Express for online orders.
Please note that American Express may not be accepted at your affiliated store.
You can have more than one credit card in your saved payment methods, but you can only pay with one card per online order.
At this time, gift cards are not accepted as an online payment method.
Simply add the promotional code at checkout and click "Apply." Only one promotional code may be used per order.
Please note: promotional codes do not apply to alcohol or lottery purchases. These items, however, can be included in the minimum order value required to use a promo code.
Promotional codes cannot be used with MPriority or Express Delivery services.
Yes! Add your AIR MILES® Collector Number to get Miles on every order and enjoy our online AIR MILES® promotions. These promotions are clearly indicated on the product images. Some exceptions apply.
Unfortunately, redemption of AIR MILES® Reward Miles is currently not available for online orders.
The payment processed on the metro.ca website is, in fact, a preauthorized payment. A charge equal to your order amount plus 25% will be preauthorized on your credit card until we ensure that your entire order can be processed.
Your final order amount will be validated and charged to your credit card on the day of your online grocery delivery or pickup.
Good to know: As soon as your order is prepared, the total is finalized based on that day's discounts, promotions, and prices; product availabilities and actual weights; applicable fees; taxes; and the selected store and services.

Standard Delivery and Pickup
On the day of your delivery or pickup, we will send you an electronic receipt via email with all of your order details. Keep a copy of this receipt for reference in case you have any questions or issues.
Express Delivery and MPriority
A printed receipt with the details of your final charges will be included with your order. Your order history will be updated on your metro.ca profile, too. Keep your copy as a reference in case you have any questions or issues related to your order.
